“ I've passed this tucked away spot for years but finally stopped in for dinner before a Center Stage show one night. The staff was very friendly and welcoming -- helpful when we had questions, and quick to get us anything we needed. We enjoyed the fried cheese appetizer (I don't recall the name of the dish), and enjoyed the dishes we ordered. Would definitely recommend! ”
“ We discovered this hidden gem while craving Indian food on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating at 8pm. The curry goat, mixed tandoori grill, and cheese naan were all fresh and delicious. Our attentive waiter ensured we had everything needed throughout the meal. Highly recommended for anyone seeking quality Indian cuisine in the city, especially for late-night dining! ”
“ Nice ambiance, cozy setting in Mt Vernon Baltimore. Delicious food and great service! Chef visited our table with complimentary tea and desserts. Can't wait to visit again ”
“ Arkbar on Charles Street in Baltimore offers a standout Biryani Rice with Shrimp. The biryani is a fragrant blend of perfectly cooked rice and robust spices, while the shrimp are tender and infused with aromatic flavors. This dish exemplifies the depth and richness of Indian cuisine, showcasing Arkbar's skillful approach to traditional flavors. It's a flavorful and satisfying option for anyone craving an authentic Indian meal. ”
“ This place served me THE BEST GARLIC NAAN I'VE EVER TASTED. Everything was so delicious. And the service was great. The 2 guys were very friendly and patient. I ordered chicken Tikka masala. The chicken was very good and juicy. Big healthy chunks of chicken. The sauce was perfect and made with love. but that Naan is thee best. I don't care what nobody says. I've traveled and eaten many places so I'm well aware of what I'm saying. Stop reading my review and go see. When I come back to town I will be stopping in to see my friend. ”
“ I visited this restaurant with a friend from Kerala, India. According to her, their dishes are authentic northern Indian dishes. The lunch buffet was nice! Especially, their chicken tikka masala was delicious. Yogurt seems to make the dishes mild despite the use of many spices. Their mango lassi was also nice. The person there was kind and attentive. Her choice of restaurant was great indeed. ”
“ Love the inside of the restaurant as well! Service is excellent and they make the food spicy if you want it! Cute decor as well inside. ”
“ Quaint cute restaurant with attentive service and amazing food. Everything was very tasty. We tried the lamb samosas, tandoori chicken and chicken tikka masala. Very good!! ”
“ So glad I found another hidden gem in my area! Since COVID I've been deprived of eating out, especially at any sort of buffets. I'm happy to know that this restaurant offers their lunch buffet again! I love to have variety when I eat Indian and they have it all. Their buffet is stocked with great staples like palak paneer, tandoori chicken, butter chicken and even gulab juman. Every time I visit, their staff is very attentive and the food is always refilled right away. Their manager is great about providing good service and keeping their customers satisfied. I looking forward to visiting more and I encourage others to give it a try! ”
